Staff Printing Issue - Colour Print Release

There is currently a problem with the Colour Print Release queue used by some staff in the School of EPS. Black and white printing is not affected. We hope to restore this shortly.

Resoved - Denial of Service attacks

We have been experiencing a Denial of Service attack from outside the University today.

This has caused intermittent performance problems for Office 365 and email services as well as internet access. 

Working with JANET, who manage the UK HE network which connects us to the Internet, we have been blocking the sources of these attacks, and the congestion at our JANET connection has now subsided. We and JANET continue to monitor the situation.

Vision Service Interruption - downtime scheduled 7th October 2016

We have been requested by our Managed Hosting Company (Blackboard) to schedule 6 hours downtime to enable software updates to be applied to our Vision application.

This downtime has been scheduled to take place from  

22:30 BST Friday 07/10/2016 to 04:30 BST Saturday 08/10/2016

Please note that the Vision service will be unavailable during this time.
