Resolved - Discovery running slowly

Now resolved.

There is an intermittent problem with Discovery, where pages are loading slowly or not at all. 

The company who provides Discovery is working to fix this.

Resolved - ICSD unavailable

ICSD (Inorganic Crystal Structure Database) is temporarily unavailable. This is affecting all universities. The supplier is trying to resolve the problem.

Resolved - External Network Issue

The Edinburgh Campus is currently being targeted by some malicious external sites. This may result in staff and students experiencing slow performance when accessing some services. We’re working with our network suppliers to block the sources of this traffic.


We will continue to monitor this issue.

Resolved - Vision service interruption

This is now resolved, Vision is working normally.

Staff and students may experience issues using Vision.


This is affecting a number of other Universities and external supplier is working to resolve this.
